Are the right systems in place, is their financial, estimating and project management software capable of working at the level they are operating at?
Historical data: We generate company trends by comparing the original with the final revenue, profit and budget of projects, then applying these trends to their current backlog in our Backlog Profit Strength test.
Billings and collections in four distinctive tests. These results are further analyzed in relation to each other. This, along with the results of our Backlog Profit Strength test, are early trend indicators of any changes to booked profit, usually before any write downs or contract completion date extensions are indicated or even being talked about.
Exposure to claims or pending change orders, indicating possible future write-down's to booked position.
